FABRICA Centre of Excellence

Centre of Excellence Fabrica (in Slovene language only) deals with sustainable management of natural and cultural landscape in the karstic areas of Slovenia. Our institute is responsible for application of geographical information systems and remote sensing in various studies, the preparation of web portal and internet GIS server. One of the main topics of the centre is the analysis of solar energy, its potential, and temporal and spatial distribution on Kras.
