Description

Project DEDI II is an upgrade of a successful pilot project DEDI that resulted in a concept for an online natural and cultural heritage database. The emphasis of the project is on new presentation models of heritage, its localization in space (2D and 3D) and time, and accessibility. Internet portal will enable active public participation in the creation of heritage through the addition of multimedia material. This is an important contribution in activating the society to build national identity. Categorization and taxonomy of natural and cultural heritage will also be evaluated.
