Urška Stražišar graduated in Sociology of Culture and Spanish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana (2005), and completed her PhD at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the same faculty (2014) in the field of landscape anthropology and anthropology of water. She carried out her studies in Spain and Croatia, and was awarded a three-year scholarship from the Croatian government for her doctoral research. Her research area is the anthropology of landscape, space and natural resources. Her areas of expertise are translating from different languages, EU project management and cultural heritage.
