In his thesis he dealt with the problem of remote sensing of roads on high resolution satellite images. Developed method is included in the automatic optical satellite data processing chain. He is employed at the Slovenian Centre of Excellence for Space Sciences and Technologies, where he is currently involved in the process of preparation and preprocessing of the satellite images taken by the vegetation monitoring satellite. These include combining multiple images into single multi-day composite, applying radiometric and geometric corrections and calculation of the biophysical parameters.
