Remaking eastern borders: a network exploring money, gender and sexuality in the border transformations of Europe´s eastern periphery

Description

The Action deals with the social, economic and political meanings of the eastern borders of Europe. It draws together existing knowledge of experts
whose empirical or conceptual research focuses on the north-east (Baltics and environs) and the south-east (Balkans and environs) borders.
The Action aims to develope new understandings of the social, moral and material experiences of these borders. It conjoins four working groups: 1) Borders; 2) Travels, exchanges, translations; 3) Differences and Inequalities; 4) Documents, techniques and technologies; and four work shops: 1) Eastern peripheries; 2) Money; 3) Gender and Sexualities; 4)Time (past and future).
